Hi everybody,
I'm a member of www.jimnyclub.gr and I'm about to purchase a Jimny 1.5 DDis. I'd like to run on 30/9.5R15 tyres, so some mods are needed as soon as I get the car.
just found this site and I'm obviously glad for this...
hope to learn many things from you people!
Regards

ps. hope that english is no problem

as i know: all you need is an ome suspension lift and you have to cut the fender flares. but running 30x9.5 tires it is also a question of what rims you like to use... "zukipower" knows much more about lifting a jimny.

Ok... I'll try to write in German.... don't know if the translation from English to German (by Altavista) will be accurate though... :(

Hello Troll,

Welcome here at this forum.

I have a lifted Jimny wiht 30inch tires on it.
I have installed a 5inch Supension Lifkit with new radius arms and new panhard bars, also I have installed a 1 1/2 inch Bodylift.

To handle the tires I have a samurai t-case under my Jimny with 4.16:1 Calmini Gears. Look at my Profil there you can see my Jimny.

Sorry for my english but it's late and it's not so good as I want to. If you have any questions, don't hesitat and ask, here are some guys who has really the know how to do modifications on suzuki's

Kind regards,

Eric

that's a nice rig you have... I also had a 10 cm lifted Jimny VVT on 30s and I had lots of fun, untill it was stolen...

So I'm about to buy another, and it will be a diesel one, from Germany. DDis model is not imported here in Greece.
Anyway, I have lots of questions about the specific model (DDis) about suspension and differentials.
So, I'll try to find the right topic and post my questions.... hope so

Happy wheelin...

Hoffnung so bekanntzugeben
bester Respekt
